VerTech sets the stage for a ‘Pulverising’ ‘Euphoric’ ‘World conquering beast of a live show’
French dance music-duo Justice provided plenty of Hyperdrama at London’s iconic Alexandra Palace last night (12 February) on Star Live’s VerTech stage. After the show, Rolling Stone magazine called the duo’s new live tour ‘the must-see dance act on the planet’.
Our triple-span, 24m-wide, 12.5m-trim VerTech stage system supported 28 tonnes of production equipment, providing the structure for what was described as an ‘audio visual spectacular’.
We worked with the technical team at Alexandra Palace and the house rigging company, Outback Rigging Ltd, to design a six-mast supported mega truss grid. The system let us optimise the trim height and rigging capacity at the venue, allowing effective load distribution across the house superstructure and the VerTech ground support.
The VerTech stage will be in action at Ally Pally until Sunday, with Spiritbox performing their biggest London show tonight (13 February) and Maribou State share their soulful soundscape between 14 and 16 February.
