The first #MeetTheStarLiveTeam for 2022 is our Head of Engineering Ryan Robinson. Ryan expertly runs Star Live's engineering department and ensures all our kit is safely maintained, modified and repaired prior to it being deployed at events all over the world.

What area of the business do you work in? Engineering
What is the best project you have worked on at Star Live? There has been many, but Riot Games in Shanghai is pretty memorable for me
What’s your favourite thing about your job? The versatility
What was your first ever job? I started young in a family run business as a welder and fabricator
Tell us a surprising but fun fact about you? I was an amateur area boxing champion and fought all the way to the semi-finals of the England ABA championships
What is one thing on the very top of your bucket list? Learning to speak Spanish fluently
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you want to have with you? Journal, multitool, water purifier

What are your top 3 programmes to binge watch? I hardly watch TV, but Grand Designs would be up there. I watch a lot of boxing on YouTube and an avid listener of Audible
If you had 25 hours each day, how would you use your extra time? SLEEP! Due to a very small human called Florence
If you were Star Live’s CEO for the day, what would you change or introduce? I would introduce a pre-season and end of season team building day!
