#MeetTheStarLiveTeam - Luke Holloway, Head of Yard Operations

To give you an insight into the incredible people that make this happen we're starting #MeetTheStarLiveTeam.

First up is one of the key people that makes sure our 12-acre operational site runs like clockwork: Luke Holloway, Star Live's Head of Yard Operations.

How long have you worked for Star Live? I have worked for Star Live for 4 years.

What area of the business do you work in? I work in the Operations team, and I love it.

What is the best project you have worked on at Star Live? All the projects are sensational, but it has to be the Tokyo Olympics, loading 46 Containers in the ice, it was good fun!

What’s your favourite thing about your job? Apart from the people, being challenged every day as no two days are the same.

What was your first ever job? Part-time tele-sales Data entry For Douwe Egberts Coffee Company.

What is one thing on the very top of your bucket list? Swimming with Great White Sharks.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you want to have with you? Bear Grylls ,Gordon Ramsey and Kelly Brooke 😊 … or a knife, lighter and fishing kit!

What are your top 3 programmes to binge watch? Mandolorian, Cobra Kai and The Boys.

If you had 25 hours each day, how would you use your extra time? Probably be at work or something to do with maintenance on my Koi pond or marine aquarium.

If you were Star Live’s CEO for the day, what would you change or introduce? I would like to introduce in the summer that on a Friday we all have to wear Speedos and Bikinis 😊
