Grahame is an innovative and creative leader and brings a wealth of leadership experience and knowledge of the events, sport and experiential markets including global overlay projects at Olympics and Commonwealth Games to the business. Grahame specialises in driving growth and shaping the future of Star Live both in the UK and internationally.
How long have you worked for Star Live? Just over 2.5 years
What area of the business do you work in? All aspects however really focussed on helping shape culture and driving the direction of travel
What is the best project you have worked on at Star Live? Tokyo Olympics. One of my all time favourite cities in the world and an important project that helped Star when the world closed down!
What’s your favourite thing about your job? The diverse nature of our business, whether Sport, Entertainment, Design & Build or Brands ensures no two clients (or days) are the same!
What was your first ever job? Marketing Manager – Scottish Enterprise in Glasgow
Tell us a surprising but fun fact about you? I have been formally introduced to the Queen, Prime Minister (David Cameron) and Mayor of London (Boris) in one year
What is one thing on the very top of your bucket list? To be proficient in playing the guitar
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you want to have with you? Spotify, a gun and a fine Bordeaux
What emoji best describes you? Not a huge emoji user, however I like to have fun at work, so 🤣 would do the trick!
What are your top 3 programmes to binge watch? Sopranos, Breaking Bad and currently really enjoying Afterlife 3
If you had 25 hours each day, how would you use your extra time? Read more….albeit I have just been introduced to audio books by our Project Director, Gav Scott which has helped…Currently on Dave Grohl’s book, The Storyteller. All the more poignant after the sad passing of Taylor Hawkins
If you were Star Live’s CEO for the day, what would you change or introduce? I am and try and promote an inclusive approach where anyone that has a suggestion or idea can have their view heard
