James Anderson appointed as Business Development Director

We are really excited to announce the appointment of James Anderson as Star Live’s Business Development Director. James brings a wealth of experience with him having worked in the events and construction industries for the last decade working with Arena Group PLC and GL Events.

James will be focusing on the ‘Design & Build’ side of our business and given his seating experience will also be looking at developing opportunities for our seating stock when it returns from Tokyo later this year.

Across a twenty-year career he has gained board-level experience in the Construction and Live Event industries. As a Sales and Marketing expert (with a degree in engineering) he has delivered projects including the British Grand Prix, Formula E, Commonwealth Games overlay and multiple NEC exhibitions. Other notable projects include delivering a 25,000m2 semi-permanent exhibition venue in Sydney and the first semi-permanent TV studio for the return of ITV’s Dancing on Ice. Most recently James negotiated contracts and managed the build of 30,000 ft2 of permanent (yet demountable) film studios for Amazon Prime.
