WWE Clash at the Castle at the Principality Stadium.

Last weekend Star Live was part of the team that delivered the long-awaited return of WWE to the UK, with the first major stadium event taking place in the UK for 30 years - Clash at the Castle at the Principality Stadium.
The event included an awe-inspiring roster of WWE Superstars and an audience of over 62,000 fans from 42 countries.
Star Live designed and delivered an extensive VT Mega Truss mothergrid, rigged across the seam of the two halves of the retractable roof to support over 60 tonnes of production. The sophisticated video castle design demanded the mothergrid provided maximum usable trim from the 45m roof clearance. Star Live supplied a heavy-duty, high-tensile chain suspension system to support the grid truss with the whole assembly monitored through a Kinesys load cell system as the production was added.

The Star Live rigging team, led by Rick Waterworth, also installed primary rigging points around the stadium roof for audience lighting and cable management.
With this WWE event, alongside the Taylor Hawkins tribute concert, there was a combined global audience of hundreds of millions watching world class events using Star Live’s solutions and services.
