Butlin’s Minehead phase 3 completion

Today marks our completion of phase 3 of our work at the Butlin's Minehead location, onto Bognor Regis on Monday.

Star Live has worked with Butlin's since 2020 when we first designed and built their 'Studio 36' entertainment venue for each resort, providing additional space for social distancing.

Off the back of the resounding success of this first build phase, phase 2 saw the provision of improved back of house facilities for performers.

Phase 3 commenced at the Skegness location in 2023.

This phase of work transitions each of the structures from 'temporary' to permanent - whilst retaining the core environmental benefit of being relocatable if necessary in the future.

Key upgrades include improved thermal and acoustic insulation in the walls and roof, with a specially designed retrofittable roof liner light enough to retain sufficient rigging capacity.

Each Studio 36 (named in honour of the year Butlin's was founded) at the three Butlin's locations is a highly versatile event space perfect for any size conference or event. They can hold 1600 delegates theatre style, 1100 cabaret style and up to 1370 gala dinner style and each feature an enormous stage and showstopping AV equipment.
