Large temporary structures for Landmarc.
Supporting the DIO in the Ukranian war effort, Star Live was proud to deliver sustainable large temporary structures for client Landmarc, serving the MOD's training facilities across four sites.
Our comprehensive turnkey solution involved various initiatives to enhance the training facilities. We delivered a large, demountable, and relocatable breakout area at one site, and across all four sites, we designed 50 modular, demountable classrooms comprising 100 Starbox units. These included 20 double-decker and 30 single units.
Our solution covered every aspect to ensure a comfortable and functional learning environment. No detail was overlooked, from heating and lighting to carpets, stairs, walkways, and fire alarms. We prioritised incorporating eco-friendly practices, utilising generator-powered batteries to further our commitment to sustainability. Moreover, we supplied an on-site container powered by generators to store food, functioning as a practical fridge/freezer (reefer).
Before the installation of the modular classrooms, we took the initiative to winterise existing tented structures. We optimised the learning environment by adding flooring, heating, and LED lighting, making it suitable even in harsh winter conditions.
The large temporary structures were built within a remarkable timeframe of just 12 weeks over the Christmas period. This end-to-end delivery truly exemplifies our dedication to providing solutions-oriented, sustainable services that positively impact both the environment and our clients.
